24 Hour Special

Mentoring Secrets – Catapulting Success To New HeightsMentoring Secrets — Catapulting Success To New Heights

Discover Surprising Methods For Successfully Coaching Others And/Or Locating A Supreme Mentor

It’s a good time to release this DVD today.

We talked about the importance of following masters in the fields of our interests in order to catapult ourselves to higher levels. We realized it makes perfect sense.

I talked about mentorship with James Brausch in Costa Rica, and this from both sides… whether seeking or being a Mentor. (And I capitalize the M on purpose; for me there is a difference between a mentor and a Mentor.)

By the way, I do have a mentoring student myself (Hi Justin!). But this is only because he figured out how to contact me and how to make me say yes. ;-) (Once I master a couple more things, I will officially open the gates.)

It is crucial for your success to have Mentors, be it in the area of health, relationships, money, business, spirituality, you name it. But it is equally important to be a Mentor, to teach others what you mastered yourself.

Now, there are a lot of mistakes being made by both mentors and students. And we (James and I) talked about those mistakes which lead to big failures. We discussed what makes a mentor a good Mentor as well as what makes a student a good student. We also talked about when and how to start a mentoring program, to which price, and which steps to follow to ensure the student succeeds. (James has a 50% success rate. Yeah, look at me! ;-)

Having a supreme Mentor is powerful. For example, just yesterday, I received an answer from James to one of my questions that—when applied—will make me tens of thousands of dollars! (Let me know if you wanna have this answer. I have the permission to publicize his secrets.)

Either way…

For the next 24 hours (i.e., until noon tomorrow — PDT, which is GMT -7) you can get Mentoring Secrets – Catapulting Success To New Heights for $35. After this special, the price will go up to $100.

Myths And Truths About Internet Business Success

Myths And Truths About Internet Business SuccessMaking millions over the internet in the span of a single day might sound like a clichéd online business opportunity provider’s slogan, but countless people are drawn towards the same—each and every day—in hope of making lots of money in an instant. (Ever heard the term Instant Gratification?)

There are numerous myths surrounding the online business arena, and the most popular one has to be the idea that you can start an online business today, and wake up to be a millionaire the next morning.

It is true that the Internet allows for a quicker profit making than in the traditional offline business world because of its tremendous market potential and ease of use, but these profits are definitely not instant when you’re just getting started. You have to learn and work for your business; delegating enough time to build the basics, only then can you hope for success.

The foundation of any successful Internet business is laid once you have definitive goals for your business and a proper business plan (i.e., “Blueprint”) for achieving the same. For an online business to take off, you need to spend time creating Web sites for your company’s products or services and introduce the same to the Internet market in an effective manner. You should embark on intensive market research, look at similar businesses, gauge your competition, and build your own system of delivering products so as to ensure that you put that part on autopilot.

All this does not happen overnight; it takes time and patience. However, with the right approach and attitude, you are sure to gain initial success in the span of a few months or 1-2 years time.

Don’t let that discourage you though! Most people set short-term goals that are too high and long-term goals that are too low (or some even don’t have any long-term goal anymore because they haven’t accomplished their “too high” short-term goals!)

Have a BIG vision and then cut that down by creating small, VERY small short-term goals, tasks that seem to be too small to actually consider as goals!

Setting up your own business online means that you gain a lot of time for yourself. So the freedom and flexibility of work hours are definitely the most attractive aspects of building an Internet business. Apart from this, you are able to work literally from any part of the world, which means that you never have to look at work from any office again. You can work from the comforts of your own home, or from a holiday resort in the most distant parts of the world for that matter (like I myself currently from beautiful sunny north-east Brazil,) which means that work will not seem like work at all—it’s pure fun!

So the flexibility and convenience that an online business gives you are definitely true and not just myths.

However, when you’re just starting up your own online business, use a discerning intelligence to be able to differentiate between the myths and the truths. Learn from those who walk the talk and you will soon be on your way to owing a successful Internet business, too. :-)

The Power Of Focus

The Power Of FocusThis may sound like the start of some get serious pep-talk, but rest assured I do have a point—I promise! :-)

There is a lot of fuss these days on how to increase productivity, “churn and burn” sales, self-improvement for business growth, and a host of other secrets to success. The Internet is full of forum discussions, Web sites and advertisements selling tips on how to be more successful; which makes it difficult to separate the good success tips from the junk.

That’s where I come in. I’m cutting through all the junk and providing only the good stuff.

OK, I promised I had a point and here it is… One of the best success tips I can share with you is called The Power Of Focus. The Power Of Focus is not some cheesy fad, it is a real principle that when applied, makes for incredible improvements in personal and professional arenas.

What is The Power Of Focus and how do you use it?

The Power Of Focus is the mental discipline to focus on tasks with undivided attention.

In other words, it’s focusing on tasks without distractions to complete them with the greatest effectiveness and efficiency. As an example, say you’re chatting with a friend on the phone while trying to complete an important business proposal.

When it comes down to your success, what is more important, a friendly chat or a successful business proposal? This is when the discipline should kick in, and attention given to the task that will produce the greatest results. In this case, it would be completing the business proposal. Without distractions, you can bring your best to each task.

The friendly chat can wait. Frankly, you can talk to friends after you’ve closed the deal!

Here Are Some Tips For Using The Power Of Focus In Everyday Life

  • Keep a daily planner – This is the power of focus hard at work. A daily planner serves two purposes: when tasks are written down, they are easier to remember and that gives the mind the mental space to focus on individual daily tasks without distraction.
  • Focus on the task at hand – When writing an e-mail to a client, focus on writing and finishing the e-mail. Distractions reduce efficiency, draw attention away from what’s important, and result in less than your best. Remain “in the moment” in everything and don’t move on to the next task until the first one is complete.
  • Keep a list of goals – The Power Of Focus can also be applied to goals. The mind acts as a sort of magnet, drawing near what it focuses on. Make a list of goals and place copies around the house, in the car, and in the office. Use The Power Of Focus to envision already having achieved the goals and watch them come to life.

The bottom line is this… Success doesn’t come from surfing the Net or chatting with friends on the phone, it comes from learning the secrets of success and applying them to your own accomplishments. One reason why the title of my blog says Internet Business Guide For First Class Progress. ;-)

Why Your Belief System Determines Your Success

Why Your Belief System Determines Your SuccessWhat if I told you that, without fail, you could achieve anything you wanted to do?

As an aspiring entrepreneur you may have the money and technical expertise to start a new Internet business, but it is your belief system that ultimately determines your success.

So, as you raise a cynical eyebrow to my first comment, think of everything you would achieve in Internet business–or life–if you honestly believed you could not fail. To what would it prompt you to…

  • Quit your job
  • Start a profitable Internet business
  • Develop and existing business further
  • Take greater risks and investments
  • Find the love of your life
  • Reach 150+ years in this life
  • ?

Starting A Profitable Internet Business?

Success in Internet business relies on your mindset, the guiding principle that is influenced by your own belief system. (No, it is NOT determined by luck or money.)

Many of the most successful businessmen (and women ;-) and visionaries left behind a very humble upbringing, but knew that they had every resource within themselves to succeed, as we all do.

Belief systems are a founding principle in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), in which co-developer Dr. Richard Bandler established that your behavior is governed by your beliefs. Therefore, if you can fit any behavior, from being unemployed to achieving millionaire status, into your belief system, you can achieve it.

Quite simply, if you believe you can succeed and focus on what you desire you will achieve your goals, but if you focus on a negative outcome, such as failing in your Internet business or career, you have limiting beliefs which will most certainly anticipate your downfall.

Successful entrepreneurs possess a belief system that promotes wealth thinking, or “prosperity consciousness,” while on the opposite side of the scale, the belief system of “poverty consciousness” limits your future success.

Most people worry about money, but if it dominates your every thought, whether you are wealthy or not, your belief system is one of poverty consciousness.

If you start a new Internet business and you focus on a future full of poverty when it fails, or you worry about how you will pay the bills when you leave your job, you are limited by these thoughts, which restrict the future success of your Internet business, and your sense of any achievement.

Out With The Old And In With The New?

Belief systems are our internal representations of the outside world, and a state of mind that develops over a lifetime of experiences. It analyzes and filters the world around you and creates your own perception of events, which also acts as a protective tool.

These thought patterns are developed from childhood and are influenced by our families, peers, and our own personal, daily experiences.

I agree, it may be difficult (yet it’s possible) to immediately switch between negative and positive mindsets, as we are habitual thinkers and can easily revert back to our old beliefs, which all need to be weakened and reprogrammed, which is where NLP becomes a valuable tool in directing your belief system towards a positive outcome.

As all successful businessmen will tell you, right from the start they had an unfaltering belief in their own abilities and knew they are going to succeed no matter what. They had complete confidence in their (Internet) business, and the ability to market and sell it successfully.

Any hurdles can be viewed as learning curves or opportunities and they were unyielding in their direction and achieving their goals.

Believe in your abilities, as success is all in the mind.

5 Key Steps To Internet Business Success

5 key steps to Internet business successSo you want to be a successful Internet business entrepreneur? Do you know the steps to take in order to achieve your goals and success? I have listed 5 key steps everyone should take when wanting to achieve Internet business success.

1) Focus Focus Focus

Multitasking is nonsense. Do one task at a time until it’s done. Then proceed to the next bullet on the list. Focus on that until it’s done. Then the next.

This is the most important rule of them all. If you focus precisely, you will always get what you put your mind to. However… You don’t want a failed business, lack of customers, or an unsatisfying job; so do not focus on these things. ;-)

I agree, sometimes it is not that easy to change focus. I have struggled with this myself several times in my life, but once you can redirect your lenses (and get rid of all the noise surrounding you), you will be able to reap the rewards.

If you are first starting out, expect setbacks. They come, say “Hello”, and then go away to someone else. Keep on track. Continue to redirect your thoughts to what you do want.

I have told this to people before who have had a hard time focusing on what they wanted after experiencing numerous setbacks. This can be especially hard if your Internet business is not where you want it to be. If this describes where you are at the present time, refocus yourself on other parts of the business or your personal life that are beneficial. This will help you to start looking forward again.

Also, step back and take a look at the bigger picture. Try to see things in a different light, in order to focus on positive ways to bring in customers, increase sales, or just boost your morale about your decision to venture into Internet business.

2) Meet Challenges and Obstacles Head On

Many people decide to start an Internet business because they are tired of the grind of a 9-5 job, fed up with a boss, or just want a new way to bring in extra income. They never expect all the challenges and obstacles that come along with it. As a result, they are not ready to tackle these obstacles, and fail.

You need to be able to accept and deal with frustration. The key is to take each challenge and obstacle presented to you, and use each as a stepping-stone to growth and success.

Even when the going gets tough, always stay positive, faithful, and persistent.

3) Be Passionate About What You Do

You need to stand behind the products you are selling. If you don’t use the products or services yourself, how can you expect to sell it to someone else? This is one of the key points most small business people fail online.

Also, at times you may get frustrated with how your business is going, but you need to have drive to get you through. You have to be passionate about what you do in order to ride the waves of entrepreneurship for many years to come.

4) Create a Variety of Income Sources

Putting all your eggs in one basket is a high risk strategy. And you will not bring in high sales just by selling one product.

Instead, utilize your other skills and offer e-books, newsletters, blogs, coaching, etc. These other avenues will reap high rewards in the end, compared to depending on just one product. (Yes, AdSense is also a “product”.)

Diversification is the key here.

5) Study Regularly

Focus alone will not bring you success in an Internet business. You need to continue to educate yourself and study how others became successful in the market place.

The more you understand the business and what it takes to be successful, the more likely you will be to take the appropriate steps to success. Before you know it, you will be mentoring someone else and help starting their Internet business. :-)
