Today’s SundayTV show features Dr. Joe Vitale, best selling author of, as they say, “too many books to list here.” He is a featured author in the movie The Secret.

Before this event, he became world popular as being the Buddha of the Internet (for his combination of spirituality and marketing acumen) as well as a hypnotic copywriter (due to his captivating and mesmerizing writing style.)

In today’s short 2:28 min. video he reveals the Secret of Productivity.

It was a couple months ago when I came across what he says in this video. And, to me, it does make a lot of sense.

Now, beware of ideas flowing around you! ;-)

The first thing I do when I get an idea is Google it and make sure it hasn’t been done 1000 times before.

Nice short film and a interesting point of view!

Have to agree about acting on an idea, I know I don’t to it often enough, but love and being loved is the winner!

I just had an idea, small voice recorder. Sure it has be used millions of times. I tend to get a bit distracted when sitting infront of this screen. I’m not a writer by trade so I surf or research or you name it… I think better while moving so a voice recorder might be a handy device?

Thanks for the video Marcus and the little SBI guy has been helping me a ton.

So true, so true. Many times I get an idea for a blog post, write it out and wait to publish it, then by the time I’ve published it I find someone else said the same thing just a day before.

Eh, but what are you going to do? It’s hard to sacrifice writing good content for being the first. We just have to pick and choose our battles. We win some, we lose some. If we find out about a new product before others, we better damn well post about it that second. If we think of something new about blogging or general content, it can wait.

  7. Looks like I hit a nerve with this week’s choice, huh? ;-)

Another great quote from Joe Vitale is “money likes speed.”

And a voice recorder may be quite a bit faster than a pencil. Right, Josh. Simply plug in that mic and click on “Start.” Sound quality doesn’t matter in this case.

And Gary, what you described just happened to me too. I wrote a post, published it, and then discovered a similar post on your blog that you published two days earlier. … :o)
